medDOC® completes successful recertification

For the second time, medDOC has attained certification to the Quality Management standard DIN EN 15038:2006. The independent audit was carried out by the German technical inspectorate TÜV-SÜD. The TÜV-SÜD auditors certified not only that medDOC fully complies with the standard without any nonconformances, but also that an array of additional measures have been implemented in the interest of quality assurance and customer satisfaction; measures that far

exceed the requirements of the standard. The auditors were particularly impressed by the technologies employed on a daily basis to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. A good example of this is the online Project Tracking Tool, which allows medDOC customers to monitor the real-time progress of their orders at any time. The internal knowledge database, which allows translators, revisers and project managers at LÓPEZ-EBRI to access the latest information required for implementing translation projects, was also deemed to be unique in the industry.
medDOC's successful and unconditional certification to DIN EN 15038:2006 following this audit comes as no surprise. The company is also certified to the standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2008, and was the first translation company in Europe to achieve the distinction of this dual quality certification.
