medDOC® commences collaboration with SAP Consulting Germany!
In collaboration with SAP Consulting Germany, medDOC® presents the new software solution "CatTranslate". Finally, "CatTranslate" provides SAP users with the means to export text from SAP quickly and efficiently, translate it into all required target languages and reimport it.

The exporting process until now:
Until now, SAP users have had the cumbersome task of having to manually compile lists for a translation, for example, of material short texts and material long texts managed in SAP, which then had to be copied back into the SAP system after the translation. This process makes it extremely difficult to maintain an overview regarding which texts are already in existence, what terminology was used and where texts crop up repeatedly.
The solution:
Now, at last, this cutting-edge software, CatTranslate, offers an effective solution for exporting SAP texts, either from the material master or from product catalogues and for making them available in a special format to the translation memory systems used by medDOC®.
To optimise the translation process, CatTranslate generates work lists on the basis of change documents and thus exports only texts which have been added. medDOC® feeds the XML files generated by CatTranslate into the in-house translation memory systems which fit the CatTranslate specifications and translates these files into all required target languages. Following the quality-assured translation process, the translations can be imported back into the SAP system with a simple mouse click.
