The strength of our company lies in the expertise and creativity of our staff. The high degree of specialisation in the various departments for project management, translation, desktop publishing and quality assurance demands the ability to innovate and willingness to play a responsible role in cross-project teams.
The requirements for all translators working for our firm are governed by our customers' high expectations. The minimum requirement is a university education (degree in translation studies). Furthermore, our experienced language specialists thoroughly test the candidates' language and technical skills for their suitability for medDOC®.
If a candidate proves to be suitable for one or more medical fields on the basis of his/her qualifications and special skills, he or she is given a grounding in all work processes at our firm. The completed translations are carefully checked by our senior translators. A feedback process pinpoints improvements, which provide the specialist translator with guidance in meeting the stringent linguistic requirements of medDOC®.
LÓPEZ-EBRI sets great store by the continuous further training of all staff, who deepen their specialist and technical skills through training programmes, and specialise in our customers' individual fields.
In line with our quality management system, all staff undergo regular assessment.
For our translators, this specifically means ongoing documentation of their work by our revisers. This documentation contains detailed notes on the quality of the translations with regard to both subject areas and language skills, such as consistency of terminology and style.
Under this tried-and-tested system of quality assurance, which has been in place for years, medDOC® produces excellent results with medical translations.
